8am next morning, I arrived at Starr's. Owner Richie told me they would look at the vehicle and told me not to worry, I came to the right place, he would get the truck fixed by the end of the day. Had a great conversation with Richie about private business ownership and his daughter's new bakery business.

I knew, in all probability, damage had been done with the front brake staying engaged. It got smoking hot. As I suspected, rotor, disc, hoses, ect were all toast. They had courier deliver parts from Pensacola that afternoon. Long story short, our truck was ready at 5pm. Yes, they are probably not the cheapest garage around, but you have to be willing to pay a premium price for premium service. Important to us was their willingness to take our vehicle in as a priority and getting us on the road so we could get back to our family business in Indiana. Thanks to Starr's
I had my car towed. They new what the problem was and got the car started. They towed it to our house for safety purposes anyway. The guys was super nice and responded to our call in 20 minutes.
Last night of our vacation a brake locked up on our F350. A local man recommended going to Starr's to get the repair done. We were to leave the next morning to go back to Indiana. If you have ever had automotive failure away from home, you know that helpless feeling of not knowing where to go, or how long it is going to take.
Me and my boyfriend vacationed to Navarre for the weekend from Nashville, Tn. My car broke down Saturday morning and we were stranded in a parking lot. Star's was the only place that answered our call even though they weren't open, sent a tow truck, and fixed my car by 11 Monday morning so we were able to make our checkout time. They even came and picked us up to take us to the shop! Very nice and helpful staff!
I was not pleased with Starr's service. They replaced a seal in my front differential and charged $323 which is pretty high for the work that was done. They really overcharge for parts and fluids. When they put the wheel assembly back together they did not route the wires correctly which caused the wheel speed sensor wire to get severed. My RSC alarm started going off while I was driving through Destin so we stopped at Goodyear to find out why. They showed me that the wires were not routed correctly and charged a diagnosis fee. Richie at Starr's replaced the damaged part but refused to reimburse me for the Goodyear charge despite acknowledging that it was caused by their mistake. Overcharging, poor work, and refusal to make things 100% right are 3 good reasons to go elsewhere.
