Small town = small library. Although, the folks working there have been nothing but sweet, helpful, and fun to chat with!
Great little library. Always helpful, good selections of books, audio books, DVDs, etc. And if they don't have something right then they will get for you from another library. Staff is very friendly and responsive. If you don't like noise, try noise cancelling headphones. But in the South, that is the phenomena of slightly noisy, community centered libraries.
Treated very unfairly by a unknown librarian. She would not give her name. I like everyone else there. Never had a problem for 9yrs. Won't renew or visit anymore.
Well I am glad I didn't see those sour pusses working here when I went. Staff seems friendly and helpful as they should since it is a taxpayer supported institution. If enough people complain and bring it to the right people and go up the chain of command it should get some action. A library is a place of learning especially for kids.
This is the noisiest library I have been to. The customer service area is placed in the only area having a vaulted/high ceiling. This amplifies and echoes the already disruptive conversations between staff and customers.
As long as signage is up and staff politely tells kids to speak softly and no cell phone allowed, I'd blame the parents for their kids.
