Bill in the seafood section displayed outstanding character today as he helped me pick out different fish and shrimp and then even offered to season and steam them if I wanted for free. He even listed the various seasonings available and was very knowledgeable of which seasonings would compliment which type of seafood. This gentlemen is very professional at his job and quite entertaining as well! The seafood was delicious and everyone loved it. I'll be coming back to Publix to buy all my seafood from Bill from now on.
The store is clean and well organized. However, without hesitation and bearing in mind my family and I live in Northern Virginia/DC where cost of living is considered high, the prices at the Navarre Publix are outrageously high. I suggest taking extra time and comparing prices at Wal-Mart or any other nearby grocery. Shame on you Publix for charging $14 for a medium sized package of watermelon.
The staff was welcoming and helpful. Each employee I encountered gave a greeting from produce, stocker, cashier, bagger and person collecting carts. Store was bright and clean.
Excellent place to shop from the Bakery, Fresh Sandwich to cooked foods/soups, Produce, Seafood/Sushi, Meats, Dairy & lets not forget all the in between aisles clean and labeled well... If you cannot find it their, ask the friendly staff. They are so helpful! They not only tell you where it is located, but actually walk you to it. Quality and service in one. They have employees, which speak Spanish as well. Love this store from down South to Northern FL. This one is just home now!!
Don't waste your time with Winn dixie. This is hands down the best grocery store in the area. Also the subs they make are the best as well. I recommend if you want seafood getting the bourbon salmon.
